by | Oct 28, 2020

With technology changing the way we do everything nowadays, it is inevitable that it is making the music industry evolve too. There are a few current speculations about what the future of music looks like and how technology is going to change the things we once knew.

A major shift in music is the use of holograms and artificial intelligence to bring performances to music lovers in a way they have never quite seen before. In Japan, one of the biggest pop stars in the country, Hatsune Miku, is not actually a real person, but a hologram. This is up for debate because this technology it allows deceased artists to be brought back to life for the purpose of performance.

Another perspective change is the live performance. Digital creators have the ability to manipulate the way a live performance looks and feels. It can make the audience feel like they are on stage with their favorite artist all with the simple creation of a 3D rendering.

As technology evolves artists are now looking for ways to record their own music at home and build their sound in the comfort of their bedroom. At home recording studios are becoming more and more popular, especially with the Coronavirus outbreak, artists are discovering their own ways of creating music.
