Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has teamed with LIU Brooklyn to create The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment. This merger is going to provide incoming students the opportunity to explore the music industry and to get a chance to get their start in the field. Applications are starting now for the Fall 2021 semester when the program actually starts its classes. The Roc Nation school is starting enrollment for Fall 2021, promising that 25% of the freshman will receive a Roc Nation Hope Scholarship, which would grant all Hope Scholars no student debt after college. It is unclear at this time if the program will transfer over to other LIU campuses, such as LIU Post, as Post has a similar program at their school, the MTEP program.
